  Art has always been a part of me.  I can't remember a time when I wasn't creating.  In 2009, a friend asked if I would teach her child art and that started a spark in me!  Before I knew it, I had a group of 40 kids each week coming to art class.  When I moved into an art studio, I was able to take 80 kids a week.  After 8 years of teaching art to kids, it was clear that I needed to start selling my own artwork!  I starting offering my art for sale on June 27, 2016 by opening an Etsy shop.  I started to make flowers with verses on canvas and then it turned into taking peoples photos and turning them into a painting on canvas. 
I find that time spent creating art is healing and peaceful.   There is always 3-6 pictures in my head waiting to be painted!  The use of color is important to me and you will see that in my work.  I love the way colors blend and know how colors work together on the canvas.  My painting style is carefree and happy.; a whimsical realist.  I mostly works with acrylic paints, but will also work with oil and watercolor from time to time.
